Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Product Lifecycle Management is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product — from its conception through design and manufacture to service and disposal. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides the product-information backbone for a company and its extended enterprise.
Our work focuses on the technical core of that backbone: the CAD and PDM systems of Dassault Systèmes, their databases, and the custom software that makes them fit a company's own processes.
Software engineering
Software engineering is the systematic, disciplined approach to the design, development, operation and maintenance of software. In PLM environments this means customizing and extending standard systems in a way that survives the next release — requirement analysis, design, implementation, test and maintenance handled with the same rigour as the product data itself.
