About the office

Ingenieurbüro Andreas Wierer was founded in January 2010 in Übersee on Lake Chiemsee, Bavaria. The office provides services in PLM consulting and software development.

Andreas Wierer studied aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Munich; his diploma thesis was a database-based aircraft preliminary-design program — the combination of engineering and data systems that has shaped his work ever since.

Since 1992 he has gathered experience in PLM projects at OEMs and suppliers in aerospace, automotive and plant design, first as an employee of HAITEC AG and KPS AG, and since 2010 as an independent engineer, working directly with customers and in cooperation with partner companies.
